Not a bad idea for a cheap temorary solution.

I'll also say "good idea" on this one, since the trailer IS essentially a box... And you could probably jury-rig the cannon from some of your other toys, I'm sure there's some particular Lego set that might work nicely. And maybe you can pretend one of your Mini-Cons is Roller, I dunno.

Shame that that trailer doesn't look like it'll hold an Alternator, but I guess it's more for aesthetics than function.

That trailer is too small, but not bad. its better then nothing that's for sure :)

I have a nice 1:24 trailer picked out, almost identical to primes, cept its missing the little circle area, which is fine, its suppose to be realistic anyways. That's what alternators/master piece are going for.

1:24 scale trailer can hold the alternator figures inside :) two of them actually. I was messing with some 1:24 cars and transport trucks in the mall.

The one I found is in the mall here where I live. I need to go back and check the name brand of it. The price was 49.99 canadian, but it came with a truck as well, which is actually a pretty good price comapred to some of the prices I've seen of the trailers just by themselves.

But ya, the trailer is nice. Its 1:24, 1:24 scale cars would fit inside the trailer. Its a dual axle 42 foot trailer, and its got the horizintal lines all down the side. its just a little lighter grey then G1 primes trailer.

Nothing ever sells at the little car booth in the mall, so it will be there for a while, but next time im there I need to get the name and manufactuer. other people want to know what it is too :P

I've checked all over the net, and ebay, and havn't found another like it.

Remy, is a difference between the Takara and Hasbro 20th Anniversay Prime. I'm still deciding which ones to get. I would pick the one with diecast and battle damage. Please advice. Thanks.

Both have the SAME amount of Die Cast. Hasbro's is probably the one with the battle damage.

What about the smoke stacks? Does Hasbro have the short ones?

Your answers can be found on Hasbro's Site.

Nov 13, 2003
TRANSFORMERS Web site Q and A for the week of November 10th.

Q. Are there plans for a G1 reissue of SOUNDWAVE, MEGATRON or JETFIRE?
A. Not at this time.

Q. Will the 20th ANNIVERSARY OPTIMUS PRIME have shortened smokestacks (compared to the Japanese version)? Are there other differences? Will there be die-cast parts?
A. The US release of 20th ANNIVERSARY OPTIMUS PRIME will have die-cast parts, just like the Japanese release. The US release also has some limited battle damage. It is our intention to have the smokestacks be the same size as those in the Japanese release, but it is not finalized yet.

Q. Will there be DECEPTICONS in the TRANSFORMERS ALTERNATORS line?
A. Yes.

Q. When will the initial TRANSFORMERS ENERGON Waves be available in stores?
A. (Availability varies by location)
Wave 1 and 1.5: December/January
Wave 2: February/March

Q. Do ENERGON MEGATRON and OPTIMUS PRIME combine in any way?
A. No. OPTIMUS PRIME combines with his 4 vehicles, but there is no interaction between these particular characters.

Thanks. My only decision factor now is the smoke stacks.

Does anyone know whether the Hasbro Masterpiece Prime will come with the cardboard trailer? If not, I'm sure someone will scan the Takara one and put it up so we can print it out and build it ourselves...

Just wondering, what exactly are the die-cast parts on MP Prime? I'm guessing the cab and the bottom parts of the legs, but anyone know for sure?
