Well, considering the connection to Serpentor, I'd say the evil one.

I wonder if B.A.T. parts, painted to look like bone would work.

There are some XEVOZ figures going on clearance at TRU. One style is a skeleton. A huge one compared to Joes, granted. But hey, we're dealing with mystical forces here.

Boy, itd be great to have some Toxo-Zombie re-issues right about now.

There is a series of 3-3/4" Army of Darkness figures available with these guys in it. I have seen them at Suncoasts. $14.99 per 2-pack I think.

Oh yeah, but are they compatible? Or would it be like using SW figures with Joes.

I saw the 2-packs and held them next to a Dusty/Zartan pack (Thats been there forever) for comparison.

Scale-wise they seem totally compatible.

Articulation is comparatively lacking but AOD has the edge in detailing. One of the best uses of paint wipes. Even the weapons get distinct paitnjobs. Plus theres a special "Troop builder" pack with a medevial soldier and a Deadite.

I must be the only person in the world who apparently hasn't seen the Evil Dead movies. :(

Is it just me, or does that sneer really limit him?

I only recall one instance where he took off his helmet and he DID have black hair. He also had pointed canine teeth I seem to recall

Wellll... I dunno. You may be right. But within the context of the character in question I think it seems suitable. Serpy wasnt exactly reknowned for being a barrel of laughs. I can actually HEAR "This... I COMMAND!!!" coming from this face.

Or do you mean customs? In which case pardon me. I suppose it CAN sort of hinder custom work. But Im sure we can figure ways around it. For instance sculpting a veil over half the face.

Speaking of customs, is anyone else thinking of trying this head out on the previous two versions just to see how it looks?

No, I wasn't talking about customs.

I don't mind him having a sneer. It just looks a little bit like an extreme one, like he just popped a 'roid or he's constipated or something.

I've always liked the added expressions, and think it gives them character. :)

I wouldn't think it should "limit" him in any way....any more so that an expressionLESS figure. As far as any play value, you either have them zombie-like, when you want them full of emotion, or you have Serpentor here, full of emotion when you might want him calm, cool and collected.

Either way, you just have to work around it. ;)

BTW...good work Doc on getting the picture for us!
