Just got this one yesterday and having problems keeping him standing when he's on the glider. I tried bending his legs and everything...no luck. After a few minutes he topples over. Any suggestions?

I'd suggest hanging him with fishing string, looks much better displayed that way.

Hmm mine has been standing on his glider for weeks without falling. Just try messing with him some more I guess.

Mine too. I think the knee joints are a bit loose.

I actually put mine on the other Hobgoblin glider, ya know, the one that came with the demonic looking Hobgoblin figure. He hasn't fallen once.

would the water trick work on this?.. Maybe tighten up the joints a bit?
I duno I've only done that once with swords and such, never on an actaul figure

Did you try to balance the leg bend and bending the torso frontwards a bit. Haven't had it fall yet.

I bent his knees down a bit lower til his cape rest on the Glider's fume. The cape will support him to stand straight.

I had problems with him standing up also. When I have problems with figures standing up, I use doll stand to keep them standing. It doesn't work perfectly with Hobgoblin because of the glider but he stands up and looks good on the shelf.

I'm an idiot. I took a closer look and I had his glider attached backwards on the cloud. I flipped it around, bent his knees a little and he stands perfectly now. Guess you have to be smarter than the toy, lol...

Thanks for the help everyone.

Actually, glueing the joints with super glue (work the joint so it doesn't permanently stick) will really tighten up the articulation.

Yeah, I have a BIG problem with mine, and the fact that I haven't seen one on a shelf yet. Tons of those horrible Spider-Man figures, but not one Hobgoblin, or even Hydro. @grumpy@

First Super Skrull, now this. And to add salt to the wounds, we have a Wal-Mart exclusive wave which, considering I have one horrible, and I mean horrible, Wal-Mart by me, I'm screwed.

UPDATE:

The POS fell over again overnight. I'm starting to get annoyed but that figure is so awesome I can't stay mad at it for long, lol...

I saw him at KB, but passed due to price but he had a red paint splotch on his cape! This is one of the finest sculpts ever, and the definitive Hobgoblin for decades to come.
